Futac showcased its award-winning EleVisorTM multimedia display systems and other latest building solutions under the Building Technologies Zone at the Build4Asia 2010 Expo from 2-4 June 2010 in the HKCEC. Build4Asia, the only 4-in-1 tradeshow to serve the building and infrastructure markets in Hong Kong, unites Asian Elenex, Asian Building Technologies, Asian Building Interiors and Asian Securitex. Over 1,000 latest and hi-tech global products and technologies, ranging from electrical supply, transmission & distribution, building interiors, light, sound & visual to security & safety, have been displayed. Through showcasing a portfolio of intelligent building and green technology solutions, Futac has successfully drawn an impressive list of visitors and prospects during the show.

Futac enhanced its Award-Winning EleVisor Multimedia Display System Portfolio |
Futac enhanced its award-winning EleVisorTM multimedia display system portfolio with new model called EV-500. This model is newly introduced for clients who want to enhance the existing lift display system but desire the simplicity of layout and ease of implementation. Unlike the full-featured model EV-800 that supports concurrent content through split-screen display, EV-500 is a simplified version that enables the overlay of lift status over a pre-defined full-screen video background. EV-500 is not only affordable but also cost-effective with no emphasis on frequent update of display content. All the necessary requirements have already been designed and built-in as one embedded system.

Futac marketed the Samsung SPI Air Purifier for Lift, Hotel and Vehicle Applications |

Futac marketed the Samsung S-Plasma ion (SPI) Air Purifier as a value-added offering to its building technology solutions for inside lift and hotel room applications as well as for in-vehicle applications. Samsung SPI is the latest air purifying technology developed by Samsung Korea and has been certified by world renowned academic research institutes to eliminate more than 99% of airborne viruses and harmful air contaminants that cause allergies, influenza and SARS etc. Samsung SPI is well recognized by the market since launch in mid 2009. And in 2010, Samsung SPI achieves the prestigious AHR Expo Innovation Award under the category for Indoor Air Quality in the largest HVAC/R exposition held in the US.

Futac awarded the Machinery Design Accolade in 2009 Hong Kong Awards for Industries |
Futac awarded in the 2009 Hong Kong Awards for Industries – the annual competition that recognizes the outstanding achievements of Hong Kong enterprises in their move towards higher technology and higher value-added activities. This time, Futac is proudly granted the CMA Certificate of Merit in Machinery & Machine Tools Design for its EleVisorTM Multimedia Lift Display system. EleVisor comes with a superior design that seamlessly supports the delivery of content over optical fiber and merges with instant lift status to provide a dynamic display platform. The 2009 Awards Presentation Ceremony was held on 18 January 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre commenced with congratulation speech delivered by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR, the Honourable Donald Tsang. |
