OVERVIEW
SenCode is a two-dimensional barcode generator that can encode both English and Chinese characters into a matrix-type barcode. Unlike one-dimensional barcode that carries limited data, two-dimensional barcode (or simply 2D code) comes with the merit of high data capacity and can virtually carry up to thousand of characters represented in a small sized matrix square on paper. 2D code can also be presented as an image on mobile phone LCD screen so as to support mobile ticketing application. Other advantage of using 2D code is the multi-directional and fast scanning as well as the capability to recover partially damaged 2D code. There are many notable applications that can make good use of 2D code representation such as ticket dispensing, electronic coupon and mobile ticketing.
