MajorLink awarded the 2001 Hong Kong Awards for Industry – CMA Certificate of Merit in Machinery & Equipment Design for its POPstore CD-PRO system. This is the second year that MajorLink obtained such an award. This year’s innovation is a multimedia CD producer that combines the merit of automated CD replication, on-demand printing and intelligent vending control.

Majorlink developed Mobile Fare Sign for ERG Transit to enable its electronic fare collection system. The fare signs shall be linked with the Octopus readers and serve to display the fare amount in LED format. The installation will take place at the New World First Bus and City Bus.

MajorLink appoints as the Official Voting Kiosk Sponsor for Digital World Expo 2001 organized by IDG World Expo (Asia) Ltd. The event will be held during 2-5 August 2001 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The voting kiosks serve to provide a convenient and unmanned channel for visitors to vote for the Best Digital Product Awards 2001 on the spot.
