MajorLink collaborated with Kodak and Chanokio to launch the Photo Kiosks for
supporting the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian (“Horse Riding”) Events in
Hong Kong. During the period from mid of July to end of September 2008, some
twenty sets of photo kiosks will be installed into the Hong Kong International
Airport, Hong Kong Cultural Center, prominent shopping malls and major
universities in Hong Kong. Users are offered FREE prints by sending their photos
from their camera phones via bluetooth transmission to the photo kiosk. Before the
photo is being printed instantly on spot, the promotional video for the equestrian
event together with other sponsorship ad video lasting for about 1-2 minutes will be
displayed for user viewing.

MajorLink offered Octopus-enabled touchscreen kiosks to China Mobile Peoples
Telephone for self-service bill payment at its 46 PEOPLES mobile phone outlets,
providing a fast and convenient option for customers to pay their mobile phone bills.
Customers simply key in their mobile phone number and password through the
touchscreen, and the outstanding amount of their mobile phone account will be
displayed on the screen. After confirming the payment amount and waving their
Octopus card over the reader, the amount will be automatically deducted from the
Octopus card. A receipt listing the payment record and the remaining value on the
Octopus card will also be printed out for customers’ easy reference.

MajorLink joined force with Cisco to showcase the interactive signage and instant
printing technologies at Cisco Expo 2008 which was held from 10-11 June 2008 in
the HKCEC. This year’s Cisco Expo is a very successful event hosted by Cisco
Hong Kong which attracted over 3,000 visitors to “Experience the Transformation”.
MajorLink also sponsors its photo kiosk and 2D barcode identification equipments
that are used to complement the key themes of the expo covering Cisco’s “Live,
Work, Learn and Play” showcases. Other equipment sponsors also include 3M,
HP, Nokia and Sony in addition to the collaboration of more than 50 other key
players from the IT vendors, industry associations and media partners.

MajorLink showcased its instant photo kiosk and interactive signage solutions at
the International ICT Expo 2008 from 14-17 April 2008 in the HKCEC. This year,
MajorLink continued to sponsor and support the Retail Pavilion with the latest
smart redemption kiosk and 2D barcode identification technologies. Like previous
years, the Retail Pavilion with this year’s theme as Smart Retail is jointly
organized by the Hong Kong Retail Technology Industry Association and Wireless
Technology Industry Association, and is supported by the Hong Kong Trade
Development Council. Other technology sponsors include IBM, GS1, HengYu,
MillionTech and Synergy.

MajorLink awarded the fifth times in the Hong Kong Awards for Industries – the
annual competition that recognizes the outstanding achievements of Hong Kong
enterprises in their move towards higher technology and higher value-added
activities. This time, MajorLink is proudly granted the CMA Certificate of Merit in
Machinery & Equipment Design for its POPstore TDM Kiosk. The 2007 Awards
Presentation Ceremony was held on 23 January 2008 at the Hong Kong
Convention and Exhibition Centre and commenced with congratulation speech
delivered by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR, the Honourable Donald Tsang.

MajorLink developed the innovative Bluetooth PhotoPrint system for Kodak’s client
to launch the Vending Ad service. This state-of-the-art service is delivered through
a self-service photo kiosk that enables mobile phone users to print photo for FREE
in public using bluetooth image transmission. While at waiting times, users are
presented with a few commercial advertising for viewing before the photo is printed
out. The photo kiosks are now installed at a few prominent places for pilot run in
Causeway Bay, Mongkok and Tsuen Wan
