MajorLink awarded the 2003 Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Asia Pacific Technology
Fast500 Award. The program is a ranking of the leading technology companies
across the Asia Pacific region based on the revenue growth over three financial
years. MajorLink is proudly ranked Number 126 in the overall list. Among the 13
Hong Kong companies being listed including KanHan, Asia Vision, Technwayson
and SUNevision, MajorLink is ranked the top 8 among these companies.

MajorLink joined force with Futac to design, supply and integrate the AcroView
display and interactive kiosk systems for the Multimedia Project at the HKU New
Medical Complex. This project consists of advanced multimedia equipment and
real-time broadcasting system which are well-connected by fiber-based
transmission network.

MajorLink joined force with New Digital Noise – a digital marketing company to
co-develop an Interactive Directory Kiosk for the Lan Kwai Fong Group. The kiosk
comes with a stunning touchscreen interface which guides customers to browse
and enquire the list of F&B offerings and their location maps within the Lan Kwai
Fong area. The selected information including the map can be printed out for
reference.

MajorLink offered its smart card based copying control system to Minolta for
enabling its pay-per-use copying management application. Minolta is a leading
player in providing high quality optical products and business equipments such as
photocopiers and printers. Unlike convention magstripe system, the smart card
based system has the advantage to support stored-value and offline transaction so
that monitoring becomes more hassle free.

MajorLink was invited to speak at the 5i Seminar on IT Innovation for Entertainment
Zones. The seminar was held on 30 October 2003 at the World Trade Center Club
and focused on offering insights about the IT solutions and advanced technologies
for enabling new generation bars, clubs and restaurants located in entertainment
zones. Other speakers include representatives from 5i, Wireless Link and New
Digital Noise.

MajorLink awarded the fourth year in a row in the 2003 Hong Kong Awards for
Industry. This time, MajorLink is proudly granted the CMA Certificate of Merit in
Machinery & Equipment Design for its SenPass Card System in the 2003 Hong
Kong Awards for Industry. SenPass is a uniquely designed cashless payment
platform for enabling convenient pay-per-use application using contactless card and
stored-value card.

MajorLink provided its AcroView signage management system to One Peking
Road – the prominent property complex in Tsimshatsui for its “split screen” lift
display project. There are a total of 9 lifts with two LCD displays installed inside
each lift. The system is designed to play video sources from the management
office with communication backbone using optical fiber infrastructure.

MajorLink was invited to speak at the 2003 Rockwell Automation Seminar on
Wireless Messaging and Web Access for Remote Control Applications. The
seminar was organized by Rockwell Automation – a Fortune 500 industrial
automation company. The Seminar was held on 11 August 2003 in the Hong Kong
Polytechnic University. Other seminar speakers included representatives from
Rockwell, Solari and MC Founder.

MajorLink developed an Automated Loyalty Card system for UA Cinemas to deploy
its UA Loyalty Club Program – the first-of-its-kind using contactless smart card to
support a Total Retail Loyalty Program. The system made use of smart card,
contactless reader, photo kiosk and redemption-on-demand offers to empower an
engaging and fulfilling customer experience so as to enhance emotional
attachment and brand loyalty.

MajorLink secured tender to provide network cameras for the HK University of
Science and Technology to implement web-based surveillance and remote
monitoring applications. The network camera being provided is IP-enabled with
embedded Linux-based web server and comes with pan/tilt/zoom capabilities.

MajorLink showcased its latest technologies ranging from intelligent vending
system to print control system in the Optimal 2003 organized by the Intellectual
Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). This premier exhibition, a joint collaboration
between IPOS and JPO (the Japan Patent Office), is the first exhibition on
innovations and inventions from the region and possibly, the international quarters,
was successfully held during 12-14 March 2003 at the Suntec Singapore.

MajorLink offered Remote Surveillance System to Drainage Services Department
(DSD) Wan Chai West Sewage Plant. The system allows users to remotely
monitor the status from the DSD Wan Chai East Central Office. A flexible wireless
LAN has been built to link up all network cameras. In case of any alarm, the PLC
controller installed in the control room will sense and trigger the email/SMS alert to
responsible staff for taking necessary action.
